Business verification

Know who you’re
doing business with.

KeyWho reads a company’s documents, checks them against each other, screens the company and its people against sanctions and PEP lists, and gives you a clear outcome with the reasons behind it.

Know who. Before you deal.

  • Check before you commit

Verify a counterparty before you sign, pay or ship.

  • Less manual checking

Documents are read, checked and cross-checked for you.

  • Outcomes you can explain

Every decision comes with its reasons and a report.

How it works

From documents to a decision in four steps

  1. 01

    Collect the documents

Upload them yourself, or send the company a secure link. They upload their documents without creating an account.

  2. 02

    Read and check every document

OCR and AI read each document. KeyWho checks its fields — formats, dates and checksums — and compares the facts across all the documents in the case.

  3. 03

    Screen and look up

The company and the people named are screened against sanctions and PEP lists. Public company registers are consulted where they are available.

  4. 04

    Get an explained outcome

Approved, Rejected or Review Required — with a transparent score, the reasons, a PDF report and a certificate anyone can check through its QR code.

What we check

The documents businesses actually exchange

KeyWho is built for the paperwork behind real trade and onboarding — in many layouts, countries and languages.

  • Trade licences
  • Certificates of incorporation
  • VAT certificates
  • Passports and ID documents
  • Bank letters
  • ISO certificates
  • Invoices and packing lists
  • Bills of lading
  • Certificates of origin

Field checks

Formats, dates and expiry, and checksums such as IBAN, LEI and passport MRZ codes.

Cross-document consistency

Company names, numbers, addresses and transaction details compared across every document in the case.

Document integrity

Signs of editing, digital signatures, and QR codes or issuer verification links where the issuer provides them.

Sanctions and PEP screening

Companies and the people named in their documents, with matching that handles transliterated names.

Public registers

Lookups such as GLEIF, EU VIES and UK Companies House where available. Coverage varies by country.

Explainable report

A PDF report with the evidence for each finding, and a certificate verifiable on a public page by QR code.

KeyWho supports your decision; it does not guarantee that a company is legitimate. Results depend on the documents provided and on the registers and lists available for each country.
